This power supply module may be installed beside any adjacent module installed in the CompactLogix chassis. CompactLogix modules including the processor have power supply distance rating requirement. This requirement dictates that any module should be within the range of the distance rating.
It ensures that no module will be left with no power thus, proper planning of installation is needed. This power supply operates on an input voltage range of VAC and Hz frequency. It has a current capacity of 2. This power supply is capable of supplying system power to the left and right side of the module.
It enables the power supply to maintain operation during brief power losses without compromising the system operation. The duration of power supply hold-up time varies with reference to the actual configuration.
The usual supported range is 5ms to 10 seconds. Up to Eight 8 modules can be attached on either side of the power supply.
